About Us
The practice was set up in 1985 by Adrian R Wilson who is primarily a professionally qualified chartered surveyor and consulting building engineer with over 20 years experience in the locality. Adrian is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Association of Building Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Building.
Following extensive post graduate study in the fields of alternative dispute resolution, real estate and built environment law, Adrian is now an accredited independent expert registered with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Academy of Experts and acts as and independent third party in respect of both arbitrations and mediations in property related disputes.
Adrian has also been a visiting senior lecturer in the Faculty of Development and Society at Sheffield Hallam University since 2000 on the Real Estate Programme delivering lectures in the fields of building pathology, real estate law and alternative dispute resolution.
The practice carries out the full range of general practice and building surveying services including:

The geographical coverage of the practice is restricted to the West and South Yorkshire regions. As a rule, the maximum distance travelled from the Scissett office is a radius of 15-20 miles. The practice has been regulated by the RICS since 2008.
